His expertise covers project definition, developing the business case, CAPEX/OPEX modelling, retail planning, aviation related commercial development and airport facility buildings including MRO’s, FBO’s, cargo terminals, workshops and training facilities.

He has extensive experience of Airport Project Construction environments, particularly at Heathrow Airport Limited acting as the ICT Technical Design Authority for Terminal 5, Assurance Lead for Terminal 2 Phase 1 and Chief Technical Architect for the Queens Terminal.

Brendan has over 30 Years experience as a Chartered Engineer and project manager specializing in Aviation related safety critical systems such NAVAID’s, Communications, Air Traffic Management and Airport and Terminal Building Systems. He has extensive experience in systems engineering projects related to the air transport industry, project management, procurement, systems design, technical operations including business case and strategic development.
Brendan has extensive knowledge of ATM and airport operations and has managed and delivered ATM and system projects and has a wide international and cultural experience involved with airport operational staff, senior management all the way up to ministerial levels.
He has taken leading roles such as the design of systems for Macau International Airport, safety assessments, and aeronautical studies
Brendan’s project experience includes working for the Moroccan Ministry of Fisheries on a technology roll out programme implementing fishing vessels of satellite tracking systems and the complete systems design of a communication and launch indicator system for a NATO missile firing range.

He was Managing consultant at Mott Macdonald for the Digital infrastructure practice and has extensive experience of Digital communications Infrastructure projects. Simon provides expertise in, Economics and Finance, business strategy and planning and due diligence including Internet security, and security systems. When at Mott MacDonald he provided valuable Digital communications input to many Aviation related projects including at Heathrow Terminal 2 and Airport projects in Lisbon and Indonesia.
Prior to Mott Macdonald he was a member of the senior leadership team for Asia Global Crossing and acted in the senior management and leadership roles on a wide range of Telecoms projects for the company. He was head of product management and development based in Tokyo Japan and VP at Asia global crossing responsible for sales and delivery of technology-strategies for clients in Europe, UK, Middle East, and Africa.
